Leadership positions are open to WAHPERD members. Members may volunteer to serve as an at-large leadership council member or as a chair for a standing committee. 

Standing Committees

Committees will be assigned a focus each presidential term and may be given specific tasks by the President and Leadership Council. Committees will develop plans to complete assigned tasks, with liaisons reporting progress and proposals reviewed by the Leadership Council for approval or revision.​

At-Larger Leadership Council Member

Leadership Council members are responsible for the governance of WAHPERD. In addition, they fill the role of a liaison to Standing and Ad-Hoc Committees.
